Health Walks

Would you like to be more active? Do you wish activities were available in Stoke Bruerne to keep you moving?

The Sports Development Team at South Northamptonshire Council coordinate a range of community active recreation programmes that help people to move more such as Nordic walking, jogging and health walks.

Colin Hull, Sports Development Officer, said, “We currently support the health walks group in Stoke Bruerne and this group is now looking for new members to join them. We are also keen to start jogging and Nordic walking groups in the village or the surrounding area.”

The health walk meets on a fortnightly basis from Wednesday 20th April 2011 and it is a free guided 45-60 minute walk. The group is lead by John Smith and it meets in the Navigation car park at 10:0am. Tea and coffee are available afterward the walk.
